House Rules Boutique Hotel ‘t Klooster
In order to make your stay with us a pleasant experience, we kindly ask you to take the following House Rules into account.
Breakfast and Dinner
Breakfast is served on a daily basis in our courtyard, from 7-10 am. The breakfast list needs to be signed when having breakfast. The restaurant in our chapel serves dinner and is open from Wednesday to Monday, from 6pm-10pm. Reservations are recommended.
On the day of your departure please leave the room by 11.00 am. If you desire a late check-out, this can be requested at the Front Office on the day of check-out and is based upon availability. Additional charges apply.
All children (a person under 18 years of age) staying at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times. Cots are available for deluxe rooms only. However, these are limited and subject to availability.
For all stays a deposit of US$ 100,- per room will be charged. This can be paid either cash in ANG or US$, or by means of a credit card authorization.
During your stay please preserve our environment and be rational in water, electricity and air-conditioning use. Please close doors and windows when using the air-conditioning and turn the air-conditioning off when leaving the room.
In case of fire, please consult the staff immediately. Fire evacuation plans are located in all rooms. Please read them and abide them.
Front Office opening hours are every day from 7.30 - 11 am and 4 - 6.30 pm Beach-towels, a hairdryer or an iron and board can be obtained at or Front Office. When checking out before Front Office opening hours, please settle your account the day prior to check-out before 06:00 pm.
Guests are requested to conduct and dress themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Hotel procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and guests and their health and safety.
Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Hotel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case, the Hotel shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
Housekeeping staff is available from Monday through Sunday and will clean your room on a daily basis, unless your booking states differently. If you require new towels, leave the towels you wish to be exchanged on the floor. Room inventory (pillows, linen, towels, remotes etc.) are intended for you use while staying in the hotel and are not to be taken out. Please do not flush any hygienic disposals for feminine or baby care through the toilet, but use the bins provided.
A free luggage room is available around the clock for luggage storage. The Hotel will not be held responsible for damaged or missing luggage during the storage.
Order & Peace at night
The pool is open from 7am to 8pm. Diving is strictly prohibited. Between 10pm and 7am peace at night has to be kept in all rooms, public areas and the grounds. All noise should be avoided. Failure to observe the peace at night may result in immediate ejection. The hotel expects that other guests, neighbours and staff are treated with respect. The entrances will be locked at night, but the building may be accessed at all times via a room key card. Persons not booked into the hotel may only access the rooms on prior registration at reception, additional costs may apply. The hotel may deny access in individual cases.
The hotel does not own car parking spaces. Public car parking spaces are available nearby the Hotel, which can be used at your own risk. It is advised not to leave any valuables inside your car. Cars and their contents are left at the customer’s (/owners’) own risk. The Hotel does not accept responsibility for loss or damage (save as may not be excluded or restricted by applicable law) for parking on public spaces.
Guide dogs are accepted with prior arrangement, but otherwise no pets are allowed at the Hotel.
Security & Emergencies
In case of emergencies please contact our Front Office staff. Outside Front Office opening hours please inform the security officer and/or use the phone on the wall next to the breakfast buffet table. The emergency number for an ambulance is 912 and for the police 911. It is recommended to use the safe in your room to store your valuables. Please ensure you lock your room when leaving it, and keep the electronic front door of the building closed. Inform the Front Office immediately in case of loss of your hotel keys.
Smoking, Illegal Drugs & Weapons
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms. The hotel rooms and apartments are equipped with smoke detectors. In case of a false alarm caused by smoking inside, the guest is responsible for the costs of fire brigade. Smoking is allowed outside the rooms in the courtyard of the Hotel, please use the ashtrays provided. Illegal drugs or weapons must under no circumstances be brought into the hotel and will result in immediate ejection. In any event the relevant authorities will be notified. Misbehavior as a result of alcohol or drugs abuse is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate ejection from the Hotel premises.
Free WiFi is available, the password can be obtained at our Front Desk. WiFi should be used responsibly. When loading the network too heavy, the Hotel reserves the right to disconnect the devices causing this from the WiFi.
Finally, the General Terms and Conditions the Boutique Hotel ‘t Klooster shall apply and can be downloaded from our website or obtained at the hotel. Gross breaches of the house rules or the General Terms and Conditions shall result in ejection from the building. Any payment already made for services shall not be refunded.
